Ukraine summed up the results of car sales in March

At the end of the month, it turned out that the Japanese brand Toyota took the leading position in the Ukrainian market.The first month of spring for the Ukrainian car market was marked by positive dynamics of sales of passenger vehicles, which significantly exceeded the indicators of the past year.

According to information provided by the Ukrainian agency Ukravtoprom, 4902 cars were sold in March, which is 17% more than in February and 117% better than in March 2015.

At the end of the month, it turned out that the leading position in the Ukrainian market went to the Japanese brand Toyota, which was able to sell 592 cars, which made it possible to occupy slightly more than 12% of the domestic market. Compared to March last year, Toyota's sales grew 3.4 times, while sales increased by 67% compared to February, which is also a lot. The second place went to the French automaker Renault, which sold 512 cars. Compared to February, sales increased by 19%, and if compared with last year, the result is more impressive - the increase was more than 190%. The third place is occupied by the Volkswagen brand, whose cars were sold in a circulation of 277 copies (+ 47% compared to February and + 83% to March 2015).

The fourth and fifth places were shared by BMW and Ford, which sold 273 and 264 cars, respectively, while the growth in sales of Germans amounted to + 157%, and of Americans + 288% in relation to March a year ago.
