Thus, the tuning studio decided to pay tribute to the iconic British SUV. The special version was named "Sixty8".

This name was not given by chance - this year Defender turns 68, and next year it will be discontinued. Startech is a Brabus subsidiary that has been tuning Jaguar and Land Rover exclusively since 2011.

The basis for the "experiments" was the Defender, on which a different radiator grille, LED headlights and lanterns were installed. An aluminum protective sheet is mounted under the bottom, and the wheels are replaced with 18-inch "casting", "shod" in off-road tires BF Goodrich All-Terrain.

The body of the Land Rover Defender Sixty8 from the tuning studio Startech has a combined color: the bottom is silver metallic, while the roof is painted in high-gloss black. The interior adds an Alpine multimedia system with navigation, a new steering wheel, as well as trim in black and brown leather with inserts from alcantara. The seats were replaced with sports ones.

Despite the external changes, they decided not to touch the "heart". The "pumped-over" Defender retained its 2.2-liter turbodiesel with 122 horsepower. Acceleration to hundreds of such an SUV takes 15.8 seconds, and the maximum speed is 145 km / h. If you buy a 5-seater Sixty8, it will cost 67,990 euros. For 2 additional places you will have to pay 2 thousand euros.
