Mitsubishi mirage
Many people associate Mitsubishi products with quality, reliability and ease of maintenance. And, for the most part, this is true.
However, in the current lineup of the company there are frankly weak models, one of which is the Mitsubishi Mirage.
In 2015, the car underwent a planned restyling, during which it was updated externally and received a number of technical changes. And if from the point of view of design there are practically no questions for the car, then there are more than enough of them for the technical component.
First, the hatchback has mediocre handling. Secondly, the car offers frankly little free and is practically devoid of sound insulation.
In addition, users note the sluggishness of the motor and mediocre brakes.
The main pleasant moment is the price, although in this price category the car has more than enough competitors.
Ram 3500
Ram products are very popular with Americans. This is facilitated by aggressive appearance, spaciousness, power, equipment level and, of course, cost.
However, as the last 2 years have shown, a "pest" has wound up in the line of the brand, whose name is Ram 3500.
This car has a first-class and formidable appearance, a spacious and high-quality interior, rich equipment and high-torque motors. However, the overall level of reliability raises a lot of questions.
So, pickup truck owners complain about problematic steering, constantly failing fuel system and cooling system. Moreover, the car is upset with an unreliable suspension, which is simply unacceptable for a pickup truck.
Mercedes GLA-class
From year to year, Mercedes has been producing stylish, technologically advanced and well-equipped cars that offer its customers the highest level of comfort and quality.
But with the GLA-class model, which first debuted in 2013, the manufacturer has disappointed a little. This is evidenced by a survey of buyers, only 44% of whom would agree to buy a similar model again.
The reason for these responses was the high cost of the car and components, problematic suspension and poor visibility, which negatively affects the level of safety.
The rest of the GLA-class does not raise any questions. A high-quality and ergonomic interior, a first-class department, a huge amount of all kinds of equipment and a wide range of power plants - this is just a small part of the positive characteristics that a compact crossover can boast.
Nissan armada
In the domestic market, Nissan Armada is better known as Patrol. Now this SUV is not officially presented in Russia, but it sells well in North and Central America.
If we evaluate the car in terms of design, level of equipment and comfort, as well as cross-country ability and roominess, then with it there is complete order. However, it would not have been on our list if not for one thing, whose name is fuel consumption.
So, a 5.6-liter eight-cylinder petrol engine developing an impressive 405 "horses", on average, consumes about 17 liters of fuel per "hundred". But if you get stuck in a traffic jam, the consumption will easily exceed the mark of 20 l / 100 km, which today looks just a frightening figure. That is why we ranked the Nissan Patrol (aka Armada) among the worst cars of the year.
Ford Fiesta ST
For a long time, the Ford Fiesta ST has been on the list of the best "charged" hatchbacks in its class. And this is no accident. The car has always had a dynamic and stylish appearance, a roomy interior by the standards of the class and a productive filling that can compete with more eminent opponents downstream.
However, in the latest generation of the American-European "lighter", the manufacturer has "tricky" with the suspension, which fans of the brand have already called the worst in the entire existence of the model.
The Fiesta ST suspension not only has a low level of reliability, but also greatly spoils the impression of the ride quality.
Fiat 500L
In 2012, the management of Fiat decided to expand the potential audience of the iconic Fiat 500 model. Thus, its “big” version was born, which received the prefix “L” in the name.
In addition to the larger dimensions, the car received a 5-door body and a trolley from Fiat Punto. Let's make a reservation right away that from the point of view of design, the car is doing well, but the rest of the parameters are very disappointing.
The first thing that the owners of the Fiat 500L note are uncomfortable seats and a low level of safety in both side and frontal collisions.
Second, the car has mediocre behavior on the road: loose steering, strong rolls and noisy suspension are only a small part of what the owners of the subcompact van complain about.
Fiat 500 Abarth 695 Rivale
The second Fiat car in our selection of the worst cars of 2019 was the "charged" version of the Fiat 500 Abarth 695 Rivale, which was even "walked" by the famous British TV presenter and journalist Jeremy Clarkson.
But before voicing the main shortcomings of the model, let's name its strengths, namely: aggressive and stylish appearance, rich level of equipment, attractive interior and efficient motor.
But all these advantages are canceled out by an overly soft and low energy-intensive suspension, as well as mediocre steering, which is a real failure for a sports car.
